The National AIDS Control Program
The National AIDS Control Program was established in 1987, a year after the first case of HIV was diagnosed in Lofa County, at Curan Lutheran Hospital with the purpose of working to gain public health control of the AIDS epidemic in the country by 2030.
As a branch of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, th NACP works across Liberia’s 15 individual counties and is supported by a staff of more than 60 public administrative staff.
